One more baking saturday.
I was looking forward to create the 'taste of Portugal', by making the traditional Pastel de Nata...
I took the (fantastic) cookbook 'Piri piri and starfish' (Tessa Kiros)
and followed the recipe, except :
The experiment didn't turn out perfect, but it was (actually more than) eatable.
And most important: the custard REALLY tasted like Portugal. mmm.
(I learned my lesson: dough from the supermarket is not done.)
